.Cape Verde is a Catholic stable and indipendet parliamentary republic, where the level of security is very high.

.Private property is 100% guaranteed by the Cape Verdean Civil Code, which is based on Roman law: any foreigner can buy real estate and land at tax lower than in Italy.

.The flow of tourists/residents has been steadily rising during the years, offering investment opportunities and ease of resale, as demand is high and supply limited, with lower prices “per square meter” than in Italy.

.The net revenue perceived by the tourist/resident real estate renting ranges from 5% to 10% on a year basis; in some cases tourist contracts are agreed to assure a fixed income whether apartments are used or not, with consumption charges beared by the economic manager.

.Cape Verde Escudo (the local currency) has a fixed exchange rate for Euro, therby protecting investors from undesirable fluctuations: 1 Euro = 110.265 Escudo (CVE). It is possible to transfer money and withdraw it without paying high commissions.

.In recent years several laws were enacted to protect foreign investments, establishing the impossibility of expropriation of private land, except for reasons of urbanization and in that case recognizing the market value of property.

.In the Archipelago there is no risk of epidemic diseases such as malaria or yellow fever and no vaccination is mandatory. There is no poisonous or dangerous animal.

.Cape Verde enjoys a favourable position in the middle of Atlantic Ocean at only 6 hours distance from the main European capital cities and at 4 hours distance from the American coast. Boa Vista Airport hosts direct flights from Rome, Bologna, Verona and Milan every week.

.The climate is unique in the world, with an average of 27°C, with 15 days of rain a year which allow 350 days of sunshine, swimming, sport, excursions and days spent outdoors at any time of the year.
